Lana Victoria Hamilton was born in Dallas on August 22, 1952 and passed on to heaven on November 21, 2020 at the age of 68 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where she was working as traveling nurse. She will be missed by many.
Lana grew up in Irving, Texas. She graduated from Irving High School. After many years of working in other fields, Lana decided to go back to school to become a nurse. In 2011, she received her license and diploma to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). She recently moved to South Carolina to be with her daughter and granddaughter who had moved there a few years before from Colorado.
Lana’s work as a nurse gave her great happiness in that she was able to help others who were ill. She was a very compassionate and caring lady. She loved being with her Chihuahua Izzie, going to the beach, and dancing. Her favorite thing was spending time with family, especially granddaughter Rhegan.
Lana is survived by her daughters Julia Hamilton and Jenna Smith, her granddaughters Emily and Julianna and her great- granddaughter Rhegan, along with her sister Judy and brothers Johnny and Danny. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Robert and Mary (Nickel) Graham and her brothers Bobby and Grant Graham.
The family will have a private celebration of Lana’s life. If you would like to make a donation in her memory, please donate to your favorite charity.
We will always carry her memory in our hearts.
